How many grafts will I need?

Formula:

Crown Area = 3.14 X radius squared in cm (centimeters)

Frontal Area = 3.14 X radius squared divided by 2 (1/2 the area of the crown formula)

Mid-Scalp = length X width in cm

Density:

20 grafts/ cm squared = thin coverage

30-40 grafts/ cm squared = medium coverage

50 grafts/ cm squared = moderately dense coverage

Simply multiple the area by the density desired and multiply that by $4.00 per graft to get the approximate cost.
