Faq

Q: Is the procedure painful?

bullet  No.  The transplant is done under local anesthesia and post-op analgesics are provided for your comfort.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

bullet  This depends on the extent of your hair loss, which will be discussed before you make a decision.  On average, one to three sessions are sufficient.

Q: How long does the procedure take?

bullet  On the average, six to seven hours for 1000 grafts.

Q: How much will the procedure cost?

bullet  Don't be mislead by advertising or salesmanship.  We encourage you to compare our cost, to that of our competitors.  Remembering that you can not obtain a higher quality product than Follicular Unit Micrografting.

Q: Value?

bullet  Follicular Unit Micrografting is the "Gold Standard" for natural looking results in hair transplantation.  Having originated this process after years of intense research, the Limmer practice has the world's most extensive experience in this highly specialized procedure.  Combined with very competitive pricing, this process provides to you a profound value to be enjoyed the rest of you life.

Q-
I am considering hair transplantation and I have a question concerning the donor area of the scalp. Does the hair of the donor area grow back after it is removed, or is it permanently removed
from the scalp?

A-
The donor hair from the occipital scalp (between the ears in back) is moved to the bald area where it grows normally for the rest of your life.  There are different donor harvest methods, all of which leave some type of a scar in the donor area usually easily covered by surrounding hair unless you shave your head.  The methods used, doctors chosen, and experience all may affect both the donor scar and the quality of the results.  There is also a full chapter on our method in the e-medicine textbook.
